Rhaeadr Fawr – Aber Falls

Better late than never: I finally succeeded in transforming the RAW formats of my trip to Aber Falls on November 27 into JPEGs, so here they are. My apologies at this poinIMG_0612t for excessive lateness.

However, these photos are really worth to be shared, I hope you enjoy them!

Aber Falls lie quite near Bangor, but are more or less unreachable with public transport, so I was lucky – again – that my mum had rented a car when she was with me in Bangor. To be precise the Falls are here. The Falls can only be reached by foot, and it took us approximately 45 min. to get there, though, we took photos and did not rush too much. There are several paths to take, but due to other plans we had for the day, we decided for the easiest and shortest (actually this route is also accessible for wheelchair users, so it was truly easy). Even though the wheather was not the best – or maybe precisely because it was so wet and a bit foggy – the way up was beautiful and even mystical, just like the typical Welsh nature experience, yeah. Only few people decided to walk up that day, so we were alone for most of the time. The waterfalls are a nice sight, probably just as one expects waterfalls to be. To be honest, I enjoyed the surrounding nature even a little bit more.

I put up some of my favourite photos:
